The Gran Vía de Fira site in Barcelona will host for the first time ESMO 2019, the largest European congress on cancer, which will attract 22,000 specialists from around the world. Organized by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in collaboration with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), it will take place from September 27 to October 1, 2019. The announcement of its celebration in Fira coincides in a year with important meetings in the field of medicine and health such as the European Congress of Cardiology and Gastroenterology planned for this fall.
The ESMO 2019 congress, the main meeting point for doctors, healthcare staff, researchers and companies in the medical and pharmaceutical field, will announce the latest advances in oncology regarding the diagnosis, treatment and care of cancer patients.
